AMT Automag: This large-frame, SA semi-auto was designed to give .44 Magnum performance using a proprietary .44 AMP cartridge, and largely achieves that goal, matching ballistics out of similar barrel lengths but with the advantages of a semi-auto over a revolver (more rounds in the magazine, faster reloads). Introduced in the early 1970s, it was only produced for a few years due to manufacturing costs. It was resurrected in 2015, and is now available in 6.5" and 8.5" barrel models. The standard overall size of this design is 11.5". For best display of this design in acrylic, either use one of the larger LED bases, or use two LED bases.
